Dupé: True to Your Feet, Hindi Plastik!

Dupé (pronounced as doo-peh) aims to offer Filipinos a new slippers brand made of high quality at a mid-range price. Dupé is Brazilian in origin, honest in function, and friendly in price. It is the simple yet durable, straight-to-the-point, no-frills, and value-for-money footwear. 

Dupé takes pride in its 100% rubber-make from its brand and frame down to its sole. Rubber has many advantages over plastic. Rubber is not slippery even on wet surfaces. It is safer to wear because it has better traction than plastic. Moreover, rubber does not cause the feeling of heat on the feet even when used in long durations. 

Dupé does not make use of plastic, which is a raw material that easily slips on smooth surfaces. Inferness ha, i've been using my Dupé slippers for more than 1 year na at hanggang ngayon ay matibay at matatag pa din. Nakagala na nga yung tsinelas na yun sa mga lugar like Palawan, Singapore, Puerto Galera, Bohol at recently sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Sa palagiang paggamit ng slippers na to, aba'y hindi pa sya pudpod kahit na hambigats ng aking paa/katawan (wag nio na pong tanungin ang weight ko... hahahaha)

Salamat sa Dupé dahil sa binigay nilang sample. Though hindi sya kasya sa akin (i wonder biglang paliit ng paliit ang size na nipadala, pero sayang ang grasya :D  )

This year, naging makati ang aking paa. Korekted by, naging gala ako ng slight kaya naman napadpad ako sa Baguio noong may Panagbenga. Nagmahal na araw me sa Pangasinan. Nagbakasyones at nag beach mode sa Iloilo. Naglibot sa mga kabahayan na makulay noong Pahiyas. Naghaler baler at nabasa sa Nagsasa. At ang most recent ay ang maarawan sa Palawan.

Sa lahat ng aking lakwatsa at gala, ang komportableng tsinelas ang isa sa aking kasama. Ang aking Dupé slippers ang laging dala dahil ito ay comfy at masarap sa paa.

•           Participants may only submit one (1) official entry. Should the participant submit another entry, only their first entry will be considered valid.

•           Participants are free to edit their photos in terms of lighting and color adjustments only. Captions are also allowed.

•           Submission of entries will be from August 15, 2011 – September 28, 2011.

•           All entries containing profanity, nudity, obscene or lawless acts, will automatically be disqualified.

•          By entering this contest, participants agree to allow the organizers to publish their entry along with the contestant's name on the Dupé Facebook page.

•           By entering this competition, participants agree to allow the organizers to utilize their photos for marketing and promotional purposes.

•           By entering this competition, participants acknowledge that there is no payment or consideration payable by the organizers in using the contestant's images and designs.

•          On September 29, 2011, a panel of judges will choose thirty (30) winners based on the following criteria:

                          Overall concept of photo: 45%

                          Fit with Dupé qualities: 45%

                          Visibility of Dupé pair: 10%

•           Winners will be announced by 5PM on September 30, 2011 on the Dupé Facebook page. They will also be notified via mobile and registered email and will be given information on how to claim their prizes.

•          Redemption period shall be until 60 days from receipt of registered notification.

•          Winners will get a limited edition set of Dupé pouch, Dupé shirt, and the privilege to be one of the first owners of a Dupé Charme Estampada 2011 (for women) or a Revolution II Estampada (for men) style.
